On the 15th of Baisakh 2081(27th of April 2024) the Dental Science Hygienist Association of Nepal (DSHAN) organized a significant program at the prestigious Indreni Banquet in Kathmandu. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Subodh Kumar Sharma, Chairman of the Nepal HealthProfessionalCouncil(NHPC), who attended as the chief guest.

The program commenced with the unveiling of the association’s Annual Calendar by Mr. Subodh Kumar Sharma( Chairman of NHPC), Mr. Mikal Devkota (President of DSHAN), Mr. Pradeep Tamang(President of Nepal Dental Hygienist Association), Sangam Thokar (Senior Vice-president of DSHAN) and Mr. Dom Bahadur Katuwal (Vice-president of DSHAN) outlining the upcoming events, seminars, and workshops planned for the year. This calendar serves as a guide for the members, highlighting key dates and activities aimed at enhancing their professional growth and skill development.
Following the calendar reveal, a Professional Development Program was conducted, focusing on various aspects of dental hygiene practices and advancements in the field. The program aimed to update members with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in dental care, ensuring they stay abreast of the evolving landscape of dental science.
A highlight of the event was the Training Session conducted by distinguished experts in the field: Dr. Sanjay Tiwari, Dr. Pravin Jaiswal, and Dr. Pushpa Deep Kharel. These experts shared valuable insights, techniques, and knowledge garnered from their vast experience in dental science. The session covered a wide range of topics, including new treatment methodologies, patient care techniques, and the importance of continuous learning in the field of dentistry.
